Overview of Courses on Offer in the Construction and Built Environment Sector

Within West Yorkshire there are nine training providers made up of universities and colleges that offer a range of courses in the Construction and the Built Environment sector at a variety of levels.

Couses are available from level 3 (Advanced Apprentice equivalent) through to level 7 (Postgraduate equivalent), both full-time and part-time and a range of learning styles are used such as blended and distance learning.

Employers encourage and welcome individuals to join a professional institute, as they are often recognised and respected bodies and demonstrate a mark of true professionalism. Members can access personal and professional development opportunities, help to raise standards within the industry and shape the industry's future. They can also meet and network with fellow professionals and gain access to the latest industry information.
