West Yorkshire - Lifelong Learning Network

This sector offers a wide range of industry-focused curriculum against recognised qualifications and professional standards. These courses are delivered from our educational partnership of local colleges, universities and private training providers.

Courses are available from Level 3 (Advanced Apprentice) through to Level 8 (Doctorate), both part-time and full-time, with a range of flexible learning styles such as distance, blended and e-learning. Further Continued Professional Development (CPD) courses are also on offer across all Levels and these can be individually tailored to meet your specific requirements.

Learner Progression is a key aspect of the West Yorkshire Lifelong Learning Network activities, supporting clear pathways into and through higher education. Within this sector progression is aligned against key learning themes comprising:

Employers encourage and welcome individuals to join a Professional Institute, as they are respected bodies and demonstrate a recognised mark of true professionalism. Members can access personal and professional development opportunities, helping to raise standards within the sector and its future. They can also meet and network with fellow professionals and gain access to the latest industry information.
