West Yorkshire - Lifelong Learning Network

Membership of this Sector Group includes representation from all areas within this sector as well as partners from the key agencies. The membership grows weekly, ranging from active participation in meetings and programmes to receiving regular updates from the network. Meetings take place bimonthly involving presentations from key partners, activity updates from the network and discussions on areas for development. The Sector Group has recently completed a sub regional mapping of courses and is currently working on progression opportunities, identifying gaps in provision and opportunities for development. Given the ecology of the sector, it is important that learning opportunities are flexible and accessible, we are engaging with employers from the sector and working strategically with key agencies across the region.
