Elluminate

WYLLN's second successful JISC bid (view the XCRi link from the Projects page for details on the first bid) has provided the opportunity for partners to explore the benefits of using Elluminate as a collaborative tool to facilitate meetings. Funded until June 2010 through the BCE (Business and Community Engagement) Collaborative Tools Project Fund, it is hoped that using Elluminate will:

  • Reduce the complexity of arranging meetings across the network
  • Improve opportunities and ease of working collaboratively
  • Reduce the amount of time required to produce documents that require agreement across partners
  • Reduce costs and time associated with travel
  • Provide the opportunity for remote support and assistance
  • Enable individuals in diverse locations to work together
  • Support the XCRi exploration/implementation project

Elluminate Live! is built specifically for live, multi-media, many-to many collaboration. Whether you have two participants—or two hundred—Elluminate Live! enables world-class communication, collaboration, and education that transforms teaching and learning.

The unique Collaborative Communications Framework ensures that all participants are in sync, regardless of computer platform or Internet connection speed.

Elluminate lets you easily broaden use with Open Access Licensing and minimize administrative overhead with powerful session administration tools, like session creation and scheduling, configurable email invitations, multiple meeting types, content preloads, user groups and authentication, and much more. Plus, track your participants’ activities with robust, out-of-the-box reporting.
