WYLLN Progression Commissioning - Round 3
The deadline for Round 3 project proposals was 24th November 2008 and successful projects commenced in December 2008.
Round 3 invited projects focused on Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL), specifically activity is around the development, trialling/testing and introduction of learner focused APEL processes, documentation and information to improve the progression of vocational learners and work-based adults into higher education.
Successful projects are as follows:
Leeds College of Technology - covering 2 sectors (Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing, including Food Manufacturing and Related Industrial Chemistry & Digital Industries including Creative Digital, ICT and Print) for the Part Time Foundation Degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering & Networking
University of Bradford - covering 1 sector (Culture, Media, Sports and the Arts; Leisure, Hospitality and Tourism) for the Foundation Degree in Culture, Leisure and Wellbeing
University of Bradford - covering 2 sectors (Health, Social Care and Early Years & Leadership, Management, Innovation and Enterprise) for the Foundation Degrees in Leadership and Management for Care Services & Children, Young People and Families, PG Certificate in Applied Management & PG Diploma in Applied Management
Leeds Trinity & All Saints - covering 1 sector (Health, Social Care and Early Years) for the Foundation Degrees in Early Years & Supporting Young People, Children and Families
