Terms of Reference

  • Develop an IAG Model for WYLLN that will leave an infrastructure post project
  • Oversee the development of IAG funded services and offer strategic guidance to the WYLLN IAG Development, whilst ensuring fit with the developing IAG model
  • Monitor and review WYLLN activities through partnership and commissioned activities.
  • Comment on IAG performance of the WYLLN against IAG Targets.
  • Identify gap in provision and make recommendations on the use of WYLLN resources to fill those gaps
  • Support the WYLLN in putting people and processes in place that build on current plans and structures and develop resources to meet the need in the identified gaps.
  • Integrate and share good practice, supporting the provision of independent and high quality Information, Advice and Guidance to enable students to make the most of their ability by making well informed choices about progression to appropriate courses
  • Make recommendations on the staff development requirements for the network.
  • Actively seek and relay information of blockages to progression into HE and work with the members of the Task Group to identify opportunities for development and change
  • Receive progress reports on new curriculum and progression opportunities developed by other workstrands of the WYLLN
