Trans:it is a suite of support tools for students and tutors in FE to work through, enabling students to recognise and develop their strengths and their identified needs in preparation for learning in higher education.
The resource has been developed by the University of Bradford, with focus groups including students in FE and HE . The website is www.transitwestyorkshire.ac.uk
Trans:it engineering is a new additional resource specifically for students moving from FE engineering courses to courses at higher education level. Development of this material was supported by WYLLN and by the HE STEM programme through the Royal Academy of Engineering. The link to the Engineering section can be found on the website.
